CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The 14th Drug Discovery for Neurodegeneration Workshop’s posters complement the podium lectures and panels while offering an opportunity for presenting late-breaking research results, on-going research projects, and speculative or innovative work in progress.

We invite submissions for poster presentations relevant to the area of the drug discovery for neurodegeneration.

We welcome entries from the academia and industry.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INFORMATION

  • Abstracts should only be submitted online.
  • There is no limit to the number of submissions per registered author.
  • All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
  • Abstracts should be based on any of the topics within the drug discovery for neurodegeneration area.
  • You can upload up to three images, up to 4MB each – please use only PNG, JPEG, GIF files.  Always save the captions with the image.
  • Abstracts may not be longer than 300 words.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to Friday, February 14, 2020.
  • The notification of acceptance/rejection of the abstracts submitted will be sent to you via email on or around Friday, February 21, 2020.

2020 ADDF YOUNG INVESTIGATOR TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS and AWARDS

ADDF will be offering Travel Scholarships and Awards to students or postdoctoral fellows.

ADDF YOUNG INVESTIGATOR TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS 

Up to 25 ADDF Young Investigator Travel Scholarships will be presented.

Requirements:

  • Postdoctoral applicants should have no more than four years of postdoctoral training.
  • Physician-scientists are eligible to apply.
  • The program has no geographic restrictions.
  • Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • The applicant is required to submit an abstract of his/her research.
  • The applicant is required to present the corresponding poster at the meeting.
  • The applicant is required to register for the workshop by March 6, 2020.

Each scholarship provides:

  • Name recognition in the program and on the conference website
  • Verbal recognition at the event
  • A $300 check to defray registration and travel expenses which will be presented at the conclusion of the meeting

 

OUTSTANDING POSTER PRESENTATION AWARDS

Up to three awards will be selected from the pool of Young Investigator Travel Scholarships for Outstanding Poster Presentation Awards.  These will be based on an onsite review by the Poster Review Committee at the workshop’s poster sessions.

Each award will consist of:

  • Name recognition in the program and on the conference website
  • Verbal recognition at the event
  • A $400 check which will be presented on stage, at the event
